Mod570 was not created overnight.
It was formed from ideas, discipline, and the belief that anyone—regardless of where they come from—can build something meaningful.

Founded in 2019 by music artist and entrepreneur Arden B (Thomas Burnell), Mod570 embodies the modern creator: someone who sees opportunity in thought, expression in action, and legacy in consistency. Before there was a brand, there was a mindset—one rooted in creativity, work ethic, and community.

The Origin

After graduating from Lock Haven University’s Stephen Poorman College of Business, Arden began experimenting with his own ideas while working full time. Producing music, studying business, and surrounding himself with driven, like-minded people became his daily routine. Mentorship, late nights, and self-education played a critical role in shaping what would eventually become Mod570.

It was there—during a time when many small businesses were struggling or shutting down—that Mod570 began uplifting the local community. Throughout the COVID era, the brand helped shine a light on small businesses through storytelling, collaboration, and visibility, reinforcing the belief that culture and community can be built anywhere.

From Idea to Brand

The concept for Mod570 came to life in early 2019, just before Arden’s first music release, Lottery Ticket. Instead of rushing the moment, the music was placed on hold so the foundation of the brand could be built correctly. What followed was a period of discipline—business consultations, late-night meetings, travel for photoshoots, and relationship-building across industries.

Mod570 became more than a clothing label.
It became a platform.

Through intentional design and messaging, the brand evolved into a space where creativity, identity, and ambition intersected.

Expansion, Music, and Building Long-Term Value

As Mod570 continued to grow, Arden relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to pursue a career in tech recruitment—an intentional move rooted in discipline, positioning, and long-term vision. Rather than separating career from creativity, Arden treated both as parallel paths toward building lasting value.

Philadelphia became a catalyst for expansion. Through this chapter, Arden formed meaningful relationships within the music industry, including DJ Rello and Lil Skies, opening new doorways for him to grow musically while increasing the visibility of Mod570. These relationships led to a defining milestone in 2022, when Arden opened up for Lil Skies at the “Skies the Limit” Festival in Central Pennsylvania—a moment that reinforced the power of patience, preparation, and consistency.

At the same time, Arden’s career in tech recruitment accelerated. Working alongside high-performing professionals sharpened his understanding of business, execution, and leadership. This path led Arden to co-found Whisler, Inc., a tech recruitment agency, alongside his business partner Ryan Francis—a multi-million-dollar biller with a shared vision of doing things differently.

Together, they set out to build more than a recruitment firm.
Their goal: to create the best recruitment company to work for—ever.

Whisler, Inc. was founded on the same principles that define Mod570: discipline, culture, transparency, and long-term thinking. For Arden, co-founding Whisler represents another pillar of legacy—creating a business that provides opportunity, supports families, and proves that culture and performance can coexist.

Throughout this time period of change, travel, and connection, Arden’s network expanded beyond the East Coast, leading him to Houston, Texas, where new relationships opened doors within the music industry. These connections introduced him to influential executives, including Jas Prince, son of J. Prince, founder of Rap-A-Lot Records and a respected figure in hip-hop culture. These experiences further shaped Arden’s creative direction and reinforced the importance of placing oneself in environments designed for growth.

Today, Arden continues building his career in Houston—developing a new sound and creative identity—with an anticipated mixtape release expected in the coming year. This phase reflects the same intentional approach that defines Mod570 and Whisler alike: strategic movement, disciplined execution, and the pursuit of work that lasts beyond the moment.

Over five years, the blog has connected with people across the world—featuring stories tied to tech giants, independent artists, and small businesses—while remaining deeply rooted from Lock Haven, PA.
